Plant Tour at FedEx

Thursday, March 4, 2010

* EVENT IS NOW FULL! *

Back by popular demand, Fedex has agreed to offer one more plant tour on Thursday, March 4.

The most sensational company in the history of airfreight distribution is notably FedEx, as it turned the whole world on its head, thanks to its Founder's vision of a Hub and Spoke distribution system for overnight delivery. The company continued to develop its identity through the 1980s, briefly and unprofitably offering fax services in addition to overnight transport, and just as briefly carrying out a military transport contract it inherited when it acquired the cargo airline Flying Tigers.Currently the company is under contract to carry all United States Postal Service overnight mail, through 2012, and the post office has thus become its largest customer, so  don't miss the exciting   opportunity  to watch in action how FedEx does the marvel of overnight shipments.
